First it’s a beautiful visitor center and a great place to grab a souvenir or drink. But second, we took their Soul Sights Tour and it was a great way to see many of the Macon sights. And hear about Macon’s history and fun facts. It’s in a small bus (so no walking in the heat). Our guide, Chris, was very knowledgeable and Samuela made sure we were safe. It was very affordable and I recommend this to everyone.

My family visited Macon yesterday for the annual Cherry Blossom Festival, and the staff at this visitor center truly saved my day! I had developed painful blisters on my feet and was struggling to find anywhere nearby to buy bandaids. When we stopped in here, the wonderful women at the front desk were so incredibly kind. They provided me with bandaids and even let me rest for a bit while we watched an informative video about the city's history. Their hospitality and genuine care made a stressful moment so much better. I am forever grateful for their kindness!

What an awesome experience. We stopped just to get a map and ended up with a private tour. They have a 5 minute movie in the office but then tools us about the tour it was one $15 for each of us. And Habersham our narrator was amazing. And William our driver always made sure I got my photo! I would highly recommend this tour

Tons of information about places around and in Bibb county. If you need a shirt that says Macon on it?, this is the only place to go. And my favorite part are the standing cardboard cut outs of legendary musicians. My favorite is of R.E.M. Wonderful hospitality by the people that work there!

We stopped in to just as a few questions about things they would reccomend a visitor put on their list of things to see. They were super friendly and knowledgeable. We picked up some fun Cherry Blossom Festival souvenirs and some fun places to visit. They reccomend the Hay House which did not disappoint and the Allman Brothers Band Museum the Big House which wlwas also a hit!

I was very impressed by the size and the beauty of the city. I leasurely drove around and stopped to take pictures, especially of houses. St. Joseph Catholic Church is breath taking. And there were moments when I felt as if I were in a British or Irish big town. And I was correct. Macon was basically founded by Irish immigrants!
